estimation is complete and the estimated values of R and L are used in the model. For the
estimation, the ideal source supply voltage is assumed to be 480V. This is most likely not
correct, since the voltage sag during motor starting appears to be greater for v

. However, the difference between the peaks of these two waveforms is only
3-4% and should significantly not affect the motor simulations.
