The interface primitive
da&1
drives an intermediate node
&1
.
Instance
X&1
, which implements a subcircuit containing a voltage source, a voltage-
controlled voltage source, and a CMOS transistor inverter, serves as a noninverting transistor
buffer.
The voltage-controlled voltage source E1 is used to invert the signal from the interface
primitive and to drive the transistor instances MP1 and MN1.
Transistor models MP1 and MN1 are internal to the subcircuit
C&1
and are not visible to the
external analog circuitry.
This interface model is capable of providing the accurate transistor characteristics of a MOS
output pin.
The new node, like the interface model, appears only in the netlists and not on the schematic.
CDF Parameters
For each D2A interface element, the SpectreS netlister maps the CDF parameters to
SpectreS parameters using cdsSpice simulator information from CDF.
Note: Since the SpectreS netlister and the cdsSpice netlister have many things in common,
the CDF information for cdsSpice is used for netlisting interface elements for SpectreS
simulation. CDF information for SpectreS simulation is not needed and is not used for
netlisting interface elements for SpectreS simulation.
