mixed-signal simulators.

Model Description
When the
ieDataType
on the instance or cell terminal is analog, the A2AI model is used
instead of the D2A model.
The A2AI and D2A differ only in the interface element (IE) primitive and in component
description format (CDF) parameter names. Refer to the section on "Analog-to-Digital (A2D)
Models" on page 34 for a general model description and information concerning CDF
parameter mapping and IE instantiation. Refer to the section on "Inherited CDF Parameters"
on page 26 for the A2AI CDF parameters.
Note: A2A interface elements are supported only in detailed IE generation mode with flat
netlisting. They are not supported in hierarchical netlisting. They are not used with inherited
connections, nor in simulation with the SpectreVerilog simulator, both of which require
hierarchical netlisting.
cdsSPICE and Compatible Simulators Models
The cdsSpice and compatible A2AI interface primitive is a two-terminal device having the
following syntax and parameters:

Note: Both lines are required to implement a single A2AI primitive.
