Your system administrator enables the stop view sets in the system
.cdsenv
file. Sample
sets are provided to enable the standard stop views used in parasitic and mixed-signal
simulations. Any changes will apply to all users at your site.
To enable the analog and digital stop view sets
1. Open the
.cdsenv
file for editing.
You can find a sample
.cdsenv
file in the following directory:
your_install_dir/tools/dfII/etc/tools/mmsimenv/.cdsenv
2. Locate the following two stop view set definitions in the file.
mmsimenv.conf analogStopViewSet string "...
mmsimenv.conf digitalStopViewSet string "...
3. Modify the two lists as needed for users at your site.
Most installations will not need to change the standard stop view names that are
provided in the sample
.cdsenv
file.
Note: A view cannot be a member of both sets. If a view is added to both sets, an error
is detected when partitioning is attempted.
4. Save the
.cdsenv
file.
For Only Your Designs
To change Stop View Sets for your designs
1. From the configured schematic, choose Mixed-Signal Partitioning Options.
If the Mixed-Signal menu is not available, choose Tools Mixed-Signal Opts. to add
the menu to your menu bar.
