Build Instance View List Form
Available Constants/Views provides a selection list of available constants and views. The
list is made up of constants that have been defined for this design and the union of all views
of the selected instances.
Arrow keys move the selected elements into and out of the Inherited View List.
Inherited View List specifies the contents of the new Inherited View List that you are
creating.
Add lets you type in other views to add.
Up moves the selected view in the Inherited View List up one position in the list.
Down moves the selected view in the Inherited View List down one position in the list.
Cell Form
IE Library Name is the name of the library containing the interface element model.
IE Model Name is the name of the interface element model to modify.
Model IO specifies the direction of the interface element model. This field is required
because most digital cells have both output and input pins, and different models are used for
A2D conversion than for D2A conversion. If you change the direction, you must select OK or
Apply before the correct model parameters are added to the form.
Model Parameters displays the current model parameter names and values for the instance
you specified.
Cell Terminal Form
IE Library Name is the name of the library containing the interface element model.
IE Model Name is the name of the interface element model to modify.
IE Data Type specifies whether the interface element data type is digital or analog. The
default is digital. When the IE data type is digital, the netlist partitioner generates A2D
(analog-to-digital) and D2A (digital-to-analog) interface elements. When the IE data type is
analog, the netlist partitioner generates A2AI (analog-to-analog input) and A2AO (analog-to-
analog output) interface elements.
