Learning activity Business cards
Find out who in your organisation has business cards.
Ask them how and why they hand them out.
Are business cards available for you to use? You may need to discuss this with
your supervisor.
If you use a computer and your organisation doesn't have business cards, check
with your supervisor if you could design some and print them yourself. Most
software now has templates for creating your own cards.
Note to coach
You may need to supply your volunteer with some business cards or if the
volunteer has created a business card, then scrutinise it and discuss with the
volunteer its strengths or weaknesses.
Portfolio record Business cards
Keep the business cards that you have collected for the above activity as
evidence. You could photocopy and attach them to your Portfolio Record.
