Storing/recording information
Once business cards or information about networking contacts are collected it is
vital to the organisation to collect and store this information. That way
organisations will have relevant, current and easily accessible information and
contacts.
Some organisations have containers for business cards in a central place, others
may have individuals within the organisation who store them.
How does your organisation store their business cards or information about their
networking contacts?
Learning activity Storing contact details
Ask how the people in your organisation record information or store the cards
that they collect.
Identify if the organisation has a central place where this information is stored or
is it ad hoc?
Note to coach
Please discuss with the volunteer how the organisation records or files details
from business cards.
Portfolio record Contact details
Complete the details in the Portfolio Record for this activity.
