The C/CON-16 concentrator features a front panel which is comprised of two
push-button switches, ten LED indicators and two seven-segment LED displays.
The LED indicators can be used to reflect the activity of each of the EIA-232
lines and flow control status for a given channel. They can also be set to act as a
bar-graph to show CPU utilization and the activity level of the EIA-422 synchro-
nous channel. The seven-segment LED displays indicate which channel is
currently selected, the various operating modes, or diagnostic information.

C/CON-16 Concentrator
C/CON-8 Concentrator
The C/CON-8 concentrator is an eight-port version of the C/CON concentrator.
It is functionally identical to the C/CON-16 concentrator, is available with either
RJ-45 modular connectors or DB-25 connectors and is completely software-
compatible. In this manual, all references to the C/CON-16 concentrator apply
equally to the C/CON-8, unless otherwise noted.
