Chemical Trap Kits for the Savant DNA SpeedVac
Concentrators
Various chemical trap kits are available for
the Savant DNA SpeedVac. These fit on the
exhaust of the system. A carbon trap can be
used for absorbing residual radioactive
organic solvent vapors. If you are drying
down oligos (DNA120 OP recommended),
ammonia neutralizing solution will neutralize
any residual ammonium hydroxide vapors.
A colour indicator shows when the
neutralizing solution is depleted and must be
changed. ANT100 post trap is required for
use with neutralizing solution.
